Radio One Makes Programming Leadership Changes In Seven Markets

Radio One Urban1 Reach MediaRadio One has announced a series of programming leadership changes affecting seven markets.

Arthur ‘A-Plus’ Willis will serve as Operations Manager for the company’s Washington DC cluster after previously holding that tole in Cleveland.

Succeeding Willis in Cleveland will be Matt Myers, who moves from the same role in Richmond VA.

That will send Erwin ‘Katt D’ Hill to Richmond as Operations Manager from the same position in Raleigh NC.

In Raleigh, Melissa Wade rises from APD of Gospel “103.9 The Light” WNNL to Program Director of WNNL and Adult R&B “Foxy 107.1/104.3” WFXC/WFXK. Maurice ‘Big Mo’ Mayer joins Hip Hop “K97.5” WQOK as Program Director. He previously spent 20 years at Audacy’s “102 Jamz” WJMH Greensboro until exiting in the company’s March layoffs rising from overnight host before to Music Director and middays in 2008, Assistant Program Director in 2018, and PD in 2021.

DJ Supreme rises from APD of Hip Hop “101 The Wiz” WIZF Cincinnati to Program Director.

Marc ‘DJ Nailz’ Dixon is promoted from APD to Program Director of Hip Hop “Power 107.5” WCKX Columbus OH.

Robyn Simone rises from APD of Adult R&B “Magic 95.5” WXMG Columbus to Program Director.
