Atlantic Gateway Communications Christian AC 91.9 WGTS Takoma Park MD/Washington DC is adding John Nolan and Lisa Berigan as its new afternoon team.
Nolan most recently spent eleven years at Salem’s “95.9 The Fish” KFSH-FM La Mirada/Anaheim CA until its sale earlier this year. He also has hosted mornings at WEZF Burlington VT and spent many years in Washington with previous stints at WASH, WAVA, WBIG-FM, WPGC-FM, and WWZZ. He said, “I am so grateful and humbled that God opened the door for me to come home to serve Him and share His love with WGTS listeners.”
Berigan most recently hosted middays at iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Big 100” WBIG-FM from 2005 to 2024 and also hosts Superadio’s syndicated “Live In Concert”. She previously worked at CHR “Z104” WWZZ in the market and was also heard on WASH and WMZQ during her tenure at iHeart along with time at WPLY Philadelphia and stations in Seattle and Tulsa. She said, “I am thrilled to be joining the outstanding team at WGTS 91.9. Thank you to President and CEO Kevin Krueger, CAO Kelly Carvalho, and Program Director Brennan Wimbish for this incredible opportunity! I can’t wait to get started and work side by side with my longtime friend and colleague John Nolan.”
The duo take the slot most recently held by Johnny and Stacey Stone until their retirements in August. A start date has yet to be determined.
Program Director Brennan Wimbish said, “I’m so excited to have John and Lisa join the team. They both bring fresh energy, deep experience, and a love for this community that will build on the foundation already laid by those who came before them. I’m excited to see them inspire and engage people for Jesus, together with the rest of us.”
CEO Kevin Krueger added, “It is an honor to welcome two talented media veterans to our team. Their contributions will extend well beyond the afternoon show as they both have big hearts for connecting with listeners personally, and connecting with people is what we are all about.”
