Station Sales Week Of 9/19

104.3 EZ Country Giant WEZJDavid Estes’ Whitley Broadcasting Company is selling Classic Rock “We Rock 102.7” WEKX Jellico TN and “104.3 EZ Country Giant” WEZJ-FM Williamsburg KY to Mike and Laura Harris’ Shoreline Communications for $925,000. As part of the deal, Estes will enter into a six month consulting agreement with the buyers for $2000 per month. The buyers owns four other stations in southern Kentucky.

Todd Noordyk’s Great Lakes Radio Inc. donates Oldies 1400 WQXO/97.7 W249DR Munising MI to K-Love Inc.

Idornia Suzette Stephens sells Peach Broadcasting Company with its Country 1420 WPEH/103.5 W278CO and Oldies 92.1 WPEH-FM Louisville GA to Gary Ware for $430,000.

Jeff Chang sells 1460 WVOX New Rochelle NY to Lizchizedek and Authencia Manning’s Omega Vision Network for $77,000. Chang purchased WVOX’s license in 2023 for $20,000. It is currently operating via STA on a long wire antenna with just ten watts as its former site was not included in its sale.

Translator Sales

iHeartMedia purchases 97.5 K248CU Austin TX from Frank McCoy’s Auslator LLC for $800,000. iHeartMedia has operated the translator since 2016 currently as Alternative “Alt 97.5” via 100.7 KASE-HD2.

Mars Hill Broadcasting sells 107.9 W300DG Greece NY to David Mammano for $30,000. The translator will be utilized to rebroadcast Finger Lakes Radio Group’s Adult Rock “The Lake” 1550 WCGR/104.5 W283BF Canandaigua, which is also heard on 100.1 W261DR Victor.

Brent Lee’s Leeson Media acquires 97.5 W248AF Batesville IN from Good Shepherd Radio for $9000. The buyer will utilize the translator to rebroadcast their 103.9 WRBI Batesville.
