Nick Russo, MD/afternoon host at Audacy Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM Houston, is now pulling double-duty in afternoons at sister “106.5 The Wolf” WDAF-FM Liberty/Kansas City MO.
Russo has been at KILT-FM since 2014 first in weekends, before rising to nights in 2015 and then afternoons in 2016. He previously was APD/MD at CHR 94.1 KTFM San Antonio, hosted nights at Rhythmic CHR “Z95” KZFM and middays at Country 103.7 KOUL Corpus Christi.
Russo’s addition completes the lineup revamp at WDAF-FM that saw the exits of morning hosts Codie Allen and Zeke Montana and afternoon host Jeff ‘Shotgun’ Jaxon in August and the launch of a new morning show featuring Jenny Matthews and Mike ‘Jagger’ Thomas earlier this month. WUSN Chicago afternoon host Scotty Kay briefly held the afternoon slot in-between.
