Robby Bridges Steps Down As The Boss’ Boss

Robby Bridges 107.1 The Boss WWZY Long BranchAfter four years programming Press Communications Classic Hits “107.1 The Boss” WWZY Long Branch/99.7 WBHX Tuckerton NJ and hosting mornings, Robby Bridges has departed the station.

Bridges and wife Rochelle Gagnon joined WWZY in September 2021. He rose to VP/Programming for WWZY/WBHX in January 2023 as he shifted the station from Classic Rock to a full service Classic Hits presentation.

Bridges wrote, “Wrapping up an incredible 4 year run at The Boss today in New Jersey and incredibly proud of the team and radio station we built, it’s been truly something special. I’m departing on my terms and by my choice and on to new adventures. Thank you to the management of Press Communications for the great opportunity and for the work and dedication of one of the best crews in radio. Happy holiday weekend!”

Bridges previously has held programming roles as VP/Programming for MacDonald Garber Broadcasting in Traverse City MI, Director of FM Programming for Cumulus Media Detroit and Operations Manager of Townsquare Media Portsmouth NH, Program Director for AC “WEBE 108” Westport CT, AC 103.9 WFAS-FM White Plains NY, and APD of 95.5 WPLJ New York. He also hosts for Scott Shannon’s “True Oldies Channel” network and recently launched the weekly syndicated “Robby’s Top 20 Countdown

Gagnon will remain in mornings at WWZY/WBHX.
