The station wrote, “After 30 incredible years with our very own Nate West, He has decided to go on to a new career path. We will truly miss one of the greatest voices, storytellers, and friends we’ve ever had on the airwaves. Nate has been more than just a morning show host, he’s been a part of all of our lives. He’s been the voice that woke you up in the morning, he has made all of us laugh, and sometimes even brought a tear to our eyes. For three decades, he’s shared his heart, his humor, and his wisdom with all of us, and that kind of legacy doesn’t just fade away.
While we’ll miss him dearly every morning, we’re also so grateful for the years we’ve had with him. He’s left a mark on this community and on all of us who have had the privilege to work beside him and listen to him.
Nate, thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the love you’ve poured into this show. Radio won’t be the same without you, but your impact will last far beyond the final sign-off. You’ll always be family, and we’ll miss you more than words can say.
We are so happy for you and your new adventure. We wish you the best in everything you will do.”
