Sammy Simpson To Program WBBB

Sammy Simpson Cox Media GroupFormer “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM Raleigh Program Director Sammy Simpson is returning to the market to program Curtis Media Group Variety Hits “96.1 BBB” WBBB-FM Raleigh.

Simpson programmed the Capitol Broadcasting cluster from 2020 to 2022 and most recently served as Promotions and Activations Manager. Simpson also programmed WWZZ Washington DC and WXLK Roanoke in his career as well as National Director of Promotions for Bonneville, Director of Marketing & Advertising for “Z100” WHTZ New York and “100.3 The Sound” KSWD Los Angeles and Director of Integrated Marketing for CBS Radio New York. The North Carolina native also has worked on-air at stations including WMXF Fayetteville and WKSI Greensboro, VP/East Coast Marketing for Entertainment Partners and VP/Marketing for the New York Daily News.
