Cat Thomas Exits As Beasley Cuts Hit Las Vegas

Cat Thomas Beasley Media Las VegasBeasley Media Group’s cuts of programmers across the company continues as Cat Thomas exits as Operations Manager for the cluster’s Las Vegas cluster.

Thomas also served as Program Director for Hot AC “102.7 VGS” KVGS and Rock/Alternative “X107.5” KXTE. He joined the cluster in November 2020. Prior to Beasley, Thomas spent 27 years in Las Vegas where he started as afternoon host of CHR 98.5 KLUC in July 1988 ,took over as Program Director in December 1996 and then rose to Vice President of Programming for the CBS Radio cluster in May 2015. He would move to Cumulus Media as Vice President of Contemporary Formats in February 2016 and then spent two years as Operations Manager of Entercom’s CHR “Now 96.3” KNOU, Hot AC “Y98” KYKY, and AC 102.5 KEZK St. Louis.

We’re told that there were two other off-air cuts at the Las Vegas cluster.
