Radio One has relaunched “Country Legends 92.9 HD2” KKBQ-HD2 Pasadena/Houston TX as “Rodeo Radio“.
The relaunch comes with an expanded playlist focusing on Country hits from the 1940s through the 1990s. The station says the rebrand is a “bit of an added twist to honor Houston’s decades-long rodeo history!”
KKBQ-HD2 had inherited the IP of the former “Country Legends 97.1” KTHT following its sale to K-Love Inc. in 2023.
