Greg Beharrell Show Goes Country At KUPL

Greg Beharrell YEA Networks 95.5 KLOSYEA Networks’ Greg Beharrell Show has gained its first Country format affiliate as it becomes the final piece of the lineup revamp at Alpha Media’s “98.7 The Bull” KUPL Portland starting Monday, August 11.

The move marks a return to Alpha Portland for Beharrell’s show as it previously was heard in nights on AAA 101.9 KINK. Alpha EVP/Programming Phil Becker said, “It’s not something I like to admit publicly, but I am a fan of Greg’s show, and his approach to Country is helping to keep Portland Weird. I truly can envision a day where Greg has dreams beyond his wealth.”

Beharrell commented, “I can’t tell you how happy I am to have a second type of ranch in my life.”

The addition of Beharrell follows KUPL’s addition of Jamie Tanchyk as midday host and localized version of “B-Dub Radio” for afternoons. While the Bobby Bones Show remains in mornings, Beharrell will succeed KBAY San Jose afternoon host Emily Harlan in evenings.
